Sanderson picks up a fumble and gets the Phoenix the ball back. The Phoenix take the ball down the field and score a touchdown on the 1st play in the 2nd quarter. then the wolverines have the ball and fumble it and the Phoenix recover the ball. then on the Phoenix 1st offensive play they return the favor by fumbling the ball right back into the hands of a Wolveine player. they Wolverines are moving the ball down the field but on a deep pass down the left side Hardenburg intercepts the ball giving the Phoenix the ball back again. The Phoenix offense is slowly but surley moving the ball down the field. After a couple of plays it is now 1st down again and the Phoenix are on their own 24. With no gain on 1st or 2nd Jurasek throws it deep to Garza to bring the Phoenix to the Wolverine 35. Then on 2nd Jurasek is forces out of the pocket and throws it just over the hands of a Phoenix reciever and right into the hands of a Wolverine defender, but luckily he dropped the ball. On 3rd Jurasek is hiit just as he throws the ball to Boaz who missed the ball. Now its 4th and the Phoenix are punting it from the Wolverine 35. After 2 false start penalties Spencer is kicking it from the Phoenix 45. He gets the ball to about the 20.
