Without hesitation, Jennifer Brenner accepted the honor of directing the brand new Missoula Phoenix Cheer and Dance Team. After earning her B.A. in Education at Arizona State University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from Northern Arizona University, Brenner spent 10 years in Arizona teaching in public schools and coaching cheer and dance teams of all levels. Her Arizona teams competed at local, regional and national events, earning several championship titles.
However, her real passion is mentoring young women to achieve their dreams and to become healthy, positive role models. Upon her move to Missoula in 2000, while working as Greek Life Advisor at UM, she coached the Varsity cheer team at Big Sky High School. She has also been the founder, head coach and team director for Missoula Mismo Heat All-Star competitive cheer teams for the past three years.
